Martello Law lawyers pride themselves on their commitment to our business partners — insureds, insurers, and brokers. Our staff know how important it is to keep the claims process moving along and informing the insured and broker of the steps along the way. Martello Law is a full service insurance law firm providing:

  • Advice on notifications and claims

  • Coverage advice

  • Defence of unlitigated and litigated claims across Australia

  • Risk management advice and related services

As part of Martello Law’s policy, our team will:

  • Acknowledge new notifications as soon as they are received by emailing the broker or the insured, so they can be confident the notification has been received and is being actioned.

  • Send an initial letter to the insured and broker preferably on the same day, but at the latest, within 2 days of receipt of the new notification of claim or circumstance. The initial letter requests information for better understanding of the issues and sets out the next steps so the insured and the broker know what to expect.

  • Endeavour to provide a coverage response within 10 business days of receipt of information required to determine indemnity in accordance with the General Insurance Code of Practice.

Top Young Insurance Professionals in Australia

Rising Stars 2023 - Senior Associate, Yen Tran

The Insurance Business team reviewed all nominations, narrowing the list down to 45 of the sector’s most outstanding young professionals.

The future of the insurance industry has never been brighter, thanks to this year’s IB Rising Stars. The group all displays passion and has achieved not only for themselves but also on behalf of their clients and colleagues.

In July, Insurance Business invited professionals from across the Australian insurance sector to nominate their most exceptional young talent for the ninth annual Rising Stars list. Nominees had to be age 35 or under (as of 31 October 2023) and working in a role that related to, interacted with, or impacted the general insurance industry. Nominees must have committed to a career in insurance with a clear passion for the industry.
